We're Jonathan and Stephanie, husband and wife and the owners of McMethods LLC, and the people behind the squeegees. We live and work right here in Milton-Freewater. When we're not cleaning windows, we're often out walking or taking part in local volunteer work.
We started this business to provide simple, good quality service for local homes and businesses and to have more control over our time. We only take on a limited number of jobs per week, which means we're able to give each customer the attention and care they deserve.

Why did you choose window cleaning?
Simply put, we love to clean. And we love to be outdoors and work with our hands. Cleaning windows gives us a good way to serve our community while working together as a team and doing work we enjoy.
Do you plan to grow into a bigger company?
We're happy staying small. This business is about doing good work for a handful of customers each week, not scaling up. We like knowing our customers and doing the work ourselves.
Do you do this full-time?
Window cleaning is one part of our work life. Jonathan also does freelance technical writing and admin support, and Stephanie is a phlebotomist. We also both stay involved in local volunteer work each week. This business gives us flexibility and balance.
What's it like working as a husband-and-wife team?
Most days, it's great! We each bring different strengths to the job, and we genuinely enjoy working together. That's one of the reasons we started this company, to spend more time together.
How do you make sure each job meets your standards?
Since we're the ones doing the work, we make sure every job is done the way we'd want it done at our own home.
