Do you clean upper-story windows?
For safety and simplicity, we usually only clean first-floor windows as well as second-story windows that we can reach by pole or short ladder. However, we may make exceptions. Please contact us to discuss your needs.
How much does window cleaning cost?
Our rates for window washing are based on several factors, such as the type of windows, the number of panes, the level of dirt and grime buildup, the state of the tracks and screens, and how accessible the windows are. All of our prices are full service prices and include frames, tracks, and screens. Most jobs range from $50-$300. We'll give you a firm estimate before we begin.
How much do your other cleaning services cost?
Our rates are based on several factors, such as the type of service, the size of the job, and the level of cleaning required. We'll give you a firm estimate before we begin.
Do you have any discounts?
Yes, we offer a 10% discount for your first service. We also offer a referral discount. Please also ask us about any additional discounts or special offers we may have at the time of your estimate. We occasionally add other discounts for a limited time.
During the Month of May 2025 we are also offering a special flat rate subscription for local businesses who sign up during the limited offer period.
Do you provide a "glass only" price?
We want your windows to look their very best. We know some give better prices to clean the glass only. But we have meticulous standards and insist on your windows looking their best and living up to the high standard we set for ourselves. If we didn't clean the whole window, the dirt could drip or move back onto the glass quickly. We wouldn't accept that for ourselves, so we won't accept it for your windows either. That's why we clean the full window in most cases, even if others may not. However, we do make exceptions, so please ask for what you want and we can talk about it.
Will you clean just the exterior only?
Yes, we realize the exterior and interior get dirty at a different pace. When we provide an estimate, we will give you three price options: one for the interior, one for the exterior, and one for both. It's up to you to pick what you want. That being said, you will get a better price by bundling both.
Do you remove hard water stains or paint from windows?
These restoration services are not included in our standard estimates, as they take a lot more time and may also require additional chemicals. If you have these, please talk to us about what you want done.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, McMethods LLC is fully licensed and insured in the cities or communities where we have customers.
Do I need to be home?
Only for interior work. For exterior-only jobs, you don't need to be home. Just let us know how to access the area.
